Cyber Safety Tips
- Stay alert and tuned in to your surroundings, wherever you are.
- Don't be taken by surprise. Be aware and be prepared.
- Stand tall and walk confidently. Don't show fear. Don't look like a victim.
- Trust your instincts. If you feel uncomfortable in a situation, leave right away and get help if needed.
- Plan your night out let someone know where you are going and when you will come back to home.
- Carry a charged mobile phone and put a trusted taxi number in your contact.
- Never accept a drink from someone you don't know or don't trust.
- Don't walk alone after dark, plan ahead.
- Avoid taking shortcuts, Stick to the routs you know well.
- Never accept lift from strangers or unregistered taxi's.
- Be aware from chain snatcher while morning and evening walk.
- Don't trust on person who claims to be Policemen. Check his Identity card and then deal to him. In case of doubt call 100 to verify.
- Don't upload too much personal details on Facebook, twitter etc.
- Try to avoid accepting friendship and start chatting with unknown person.
- Avoid uploading your private moments or bedroom pictures on social medias and even not on your computers.
- See your Webcam on computer is plugged out when not in use and in your mobile phones camera be kept in reverse direction.
- Be aware from hidden cameras at changing room in malls, hotels.
